Data Management: an introduction for undergraduates

Data management: an introduction for undergraduates is intended for use in academic libraries  and within university curricula in any subject area. Aimed at first-year undergraduate students, it touches on information services in the digital age, and is an example how libraries can promote and support digital scholarship through reference services. Data mgmt is a growing topic that many people assume digital natives understand naturally, but there is evidence to the contrary, and therefore data management services should be incorporated into library reference and information services. This video also helps address the growing digital knowledge gap and build technical skills of native and non-native users alike.
